The Foundation Stone of Construction of New Greenfield Airport at Hollongi Airport in Arunachal Pradesh was laid by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 09th February, 2019.  The Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony took place in the august presence of Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.)  Shri. Pema Khandu, Chief Minister, Arunachal Pradesh, Shri.Kiren Rijiju Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and Shri. Chowna Mein, Deputy Chief Minister, Arunachal Pradesh.  The Airports Authority of India, under the supervision of the Ministry of Civil Aviation is committed to provide air connectivity and develop as well as upgrade airport infrastructure across the country. Due to the proactive measures being undertaken by the Government, India is already one of the fastest growing civil aviation markets in the world.
