RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant celebrated the 74th Republic Day with patriotic fervor at the sprawling trishna grounds at Ukkunagaram, today. Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL unfurled the National Flag, took the salute and inspected the guard of honor accorded by the CISF Jawans and an impressive march-past by the CISF & school contingents. Sri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL congratulated the entire RINL collective who worked together to achieve record production and also for bagging several prestigious awards at national and International levels. Addressing the employees and their family members, Sri Atul Bhatt said that India has achieved Independence because of the sacrifice of thousands of freedom fighters. “Today we pay homage and remember with gratitude all those whose blood and sweat gave us Independence and created our Republic. The Constitution of India was adopted on this day. The stalwarts who framed the Constitution were of great foresight. We are fortunate to have such great leaders as our founding fathers”, Sri Atul Bhatt added. “A growing economy augurs well for steel consumption. Thus the steel industry is poised for growth. The government of India has rolled out various schemes which will give a fillip to the infrastructure leading to increased steel consumption’ sri atul bhatt said. “RINL has completed another glorious year and looks ahead with optimism to forge ahead of its competitors and let us together pledge to make 2023 a memorable year for RINL.” Sri Atul Bhatt urged the RINL collective. “RINL collective has shown immense resilience in adversity and I am confident that the RINL collective will once again rise to the occasion and put the company on a higher pedestal.” said Sri Atul Bhatt. Shri V.V.Venu Gopal Rao, Director (Finance,) Shri DK Mohanty, Director (Commercial), Shri AK Bagchi, Director (Projects) & additional charge Director (Operations) , Smt. Nupur Bhatt, President, Visteel Mahila Samiti, Sri A.M. Haneef, Commandant, CISF, senior officials of CISF, CGMs, GMS, Senior Officials, representatives of SEA, trade Unions, Visteel Mahila Samiti, SC&ST Association, OBC association, WIPS, and a large number of employees participated in the celebrations. The main attraction of the event was demonstration of CISF Dog squad, special Commandos also exhibited their skills in rifle reflective shooting and outstanding colourful cultural programs depicting patriotism by the school children. The CISF Fire wing demonstrated their skills in firefighting and displayed an impressive Tricolor water jet representing our National Flag.
