In a major reshuffle, IPS officers have been shifted and given new portfolios in Punjab. Dr Naresh Kumar has been appointed as ADGP, Human Rights, while M F Farooqui takes over as ADGP, Railways with additional charge of ADGP, Public Grievances and G Nageswara Rao, is now ADGP, Provisioning. Similarly, Narinder Bhargav will be posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, City Ludhiana; Opinderjit Singh Ghuman as Commandant, 27th BN PAP, Jalandhar and in addition AIG, AGTF, Jalandhar; Satinder Singh as Commandant, ISTC, Kapurthala and in addition AIG, CI, Jalandhar; Sachin Gupta as AIG Special Branch-II, Intelligence; Saumya Mishra as Joint Commissioner of Police, Law & Order, Ludhiana; Navneet Singh Bains as Joint Commissioner of Police Hqrs, Jalandhar; Ankur Gupta as DCP Law & order, Jalandhar; Ashwani Gotyal as SO to DGP-cum-AIG, HRD, Punjab, Chandigarh; Dr Simrat Kaur as DCP Hqrs, Amritsar; Vatsala Gupta as DCP Hqrs., Jalandhar; Tushar Gupta as ADCP-4, Ludhiana; Abhimanyu Rana as ADCP-3, Amritsar; Ajay Gandhi as ADCP Hqrs, Amritsar; Aditiya as ADCP Hqrs., Jalandhar; Shubham Agrawal as SP Investigation, Amritsar Rural.
