" NBCC (INDIA) LIMITED AND RITES LIMITED - THE NAVRATNA PSUs , JOIN HANDS TO FORGE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO COLLABORATE FOR NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS "

NBCC (India) Limited and RITES Limited, both Navratna CPSUs, have signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 4.09.2024 at NBCC Corporate Headquarters, New Delhi aimed at transforming infrastructure development across India and beyond.

 

NBCC has emerged as a leader in the Construction Sector with areas of operation in Project Management Consultancy (PMC), Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) & Real Estate Development and RITES has a significant presence in the transport and infrastructure sectors, in India and abroad, including in the areas of Railway systems and Rolling Stock export and related services. This MoU will allow both the organisations to complement each other in securing projects in diverse sectors. The key competencies of these two companies will bring about better innovation and execution.

 

The MoU was signed by Shri Pradeep Sharma, ED, Business Development, NBCC and Shri Pankaj Chaudhary, Chief Strategy Officer, RITES in the presence of Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC, Shri Rahul Mithal, CMD, RITES, Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects), Shri Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial), NBCC and other senior officials from both the organizations. The MoU aims to achieve the effectiveness of synergy and cooperation on a long-term basis to explore combined business interests in relation to the development, financing and execution of Projects.

 

The MoU shall facilitate both the organisations to collaborate for undertaking comprehensive range of Consultancy/ Fee-based projects/ EPC contracts from concept to commissioning in various sectors like metro rail, rail infrastructure projects, roads, airports, ports, ropeways, highways, expressways, bridges, underpass & flyovers, tunnels, urban transport, energy, water resources & hydropower, wastewater & waste management, urban/industrial building design, commercial cum institutional projects, universities, projects related to urban development and infrastructure sector such as development of greenfield/ Brownfield townships, etc.
