Eight IAS officers in Himachal Pradesh get new portfolios. Abhshek Jain has been posted as Secretary, Home, Vigilance & IT and will hold additional charge of Secretary, Finance, Planning, Economics & Statistics and will continue to hold additional charge of Secretary to CM. Similarly, Rakesh Kanwar has been appointed as Secretary, Education, Animal Husbandry and Language Art & Culture, while Chander Prakash Verma will take over as Director, Land Records and Lalit Jain was shifted as MD, HP Minorities and Finance and Development Corporation. Similarly, Manesh Kumar is now Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev.)-cum-Project Director, DRDA, Hamirpur District. Besides, 3 IAS officers have been assigned additional responsibilities. C Paulrasu will also hold charge of Secretary, Agriculture, in addition to his present duty, while Priyatu Mandal gets additional charge of Secretary, Technical Education and Fisheries and Chairman, HP Appellate Tax Tribunal Dharamshala and Sandeep Kumar gets additional responsibility of post of Commissioner, Departmental Enquiries.
