IAS officers get new portfolios in J&K

Senior IAS officers in J&K have been given new portfolios . Bipul Pathak has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, where Ms Sarita Chauhan will join as Commissioner/Secretary, Labour and Employment and will
continue to hold the charge of Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal and Sanjeev Verma was posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment. Similarly, Saurabh Bhagat is appointed as Director General, J&K Institute of Management,
Public Administration and Rural Development; Ms Sheetal Nanda as Secretary, Social Welfare; Ms Yasha Mudgul as Secretary, Cooperatives Department; Ms Sushma Chauhan as Administrative Secretary, Higher Education Department and will also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring; Shahid Iqbal Choudhary as Chief Executive Officer, Mission Youth and will hold the additional charge of Mission Director, Skill Development Mission; Dr. Raghav Langer as Divisional Commissioner, Jammu; Dr Piyush Singla as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag; Mohammad Aijaz as Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar; Ms Avny Lavasa, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, will hold the additional charge of CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle for Jammu City; Anshul Garg is posted as Deputy Commissioner, Jammu; Rahul Yadav as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua; Doifode Sagar Dattatray as CEO, Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna; Ms Krittika Jyotsna as Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal; Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama; Athar Aamir Ul Shafi, Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, will hold additional the charge of CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle for Srinagar City; Basharat Qayoom is appointed as Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution
Corporation Limited; Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat as Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam and M Raju, Commissioner/ Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, holding additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Estates Department, will also hold the charge of Administrative
Secretary, Civil Aviation Department and Civil Aviation Commissioner. Besides, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Inspector General of Registration, J&K, is transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the Union Territory of Ladakh for further posting.
