IAS officers reshuffled in Punjab

In a major administrative reshuffle, as many as 17 IAS officers have been transferred . Sanjay Popli has been designated as Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities and in addition Director, Pensions, while Mohinder Pal was made MD, PUNSUP and Varinder Kumar Sharma is now CEO, Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board. Similarly, Mrs Sonali Giri will be posted as CEO, Punjab Energy Development Agency; Mrs Isha as Joint MD-cum-CEO, Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company; Tej Partap Singh Phoolka as Mission Director, National Health Mission;  Karnesh Sharma as Director, Tourism & Cultural Affairs with additional charges of posts of CEO, Punjab Heritage Tourism Board and CEO and GM, Virasat-e-Khalsa, Anandpur Sahib Foundation and MD, Punjab Tourism Development Corporation and Special Secretary, Tourism & Cultural Affairs; Ghanshyam Thori, Deputy Commissioner, Jalandhar, was given additional charge of Chief Administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority; Sandeep Hans, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, was given an additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Hoshiarpur; Kumar Saurabh Rai, Special Secretary, Excise & Taxation, will also hold charge of Special Secretary, Home Affairs & Justice; Girish Dayalan takes over as Director and Special Secretary, Governance Reforms & Public Grievances; Mrs Deepti Uppal as DG, Employment Generation & Training and in addition Mission Director, Punjab Skill Development Mission; Mrs Shena Aggarwal as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana; Keshav Hingonia as Special Secretary, Cooperation; Mrs Surabhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana, will also hold charge of Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority; Bhupinder Singh as Special Secretary, Power and Harbir Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot, was handed over additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Pathankot.
