As many as two dozen IAS officers in Jharkhand have been given new portfolios. Arwa Rajkmal has been appointed Secretary, Building Construction Department and assigned additional charge of Managing Director, Jharkhand State Building Construction Department Limited and Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan New Delhi, while Nitin Madan Kulkarni was made Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department. Besides, Manish Ranjan has been posted as Director, Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration, Ranchi; Dr. Amitabh Kaushal, as Secretary, Information Technology Department; Mast Ram Meena, Secretary, Planning Development Department, has also been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Drinking Water and Sanitation Department; Sunil Kumar, Principal Secretary, Road Construction Department gets additional responsibility of Managing Director, Urban Development and Rajesh Sharma was posted as Secretary, Disaster Management Department.
