Massive administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan

In a major administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan, 48 IAS officers have been assigned new roles, reflecting strategic changes to strengthen governance across the state. Akhil Arora has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) to the Chief Minister, also handling Public Health and Ground Water departments. Shikhar Agrawal now serves as ACS for MSME, Public Enterprises, and the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, additionally chairing RIICO and RAJSICO. Bhawani Singh Detha was appointed ACS for Women and Child Development. Rajesh Yadav has moved to Director General of HCM RIPA, while Praveen Gupta retains his ACS role in Public Works and adds charge of Tourism, Art & Culture, RTDC chairman, and CEO of Amer Development Authority. Alok Gupta takes over as Chairman of the Pollution Control Board. Naveen Jain has been named Secretary of the General Administration Department & Protocol, also acting as Resident Commissioner in Delhi. Other key postings include Dinesh Kumar as Principal Secretary for Administrative Reform and Coordination; Rajesh Kumar Yadav as DG of Harishchandra Mathur Institute and ex-officio PS for Training; Shuchi Tyagi as Secretary of Transport; Rajan Vishal as Finance Secretary (Budget); Gayatri Rathore as Principal Secretary of Medical Education alongside Health and Family Welfare; and Ambarish Kumar as Secretary of Food & Civil Supplies. Manju Rajpal oversees Cooperatives, Agriculture & Horticulture, and chairs the Seed Corporation. Ravi Jain, Secretary of Local Self Government, now also handles the Commissioner role for DLB and chairs JCTCL. Dr. Jogaram manages Revenue and Panchayati Raj, with additional charge as Commissioner for Panchayati Raj. Divisional Commissioners include Nalini Kathotia (Bharatpur) and Anil Kumar Agarwal (Kota). Rohit Gupta is CMD of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation; Dr. Ravi Surpur serves as Secretary of IT and Communication and chairs Rajcomp Info Services. Archana Singh is Secretary of Personnel, and Himanshu Gupta is Commissioner and Special Secretary of IT & Communication and MD of Rajcomp. Other notable appointments are Harphool Yadav as Commissioner of Kota Development Authority; Nidhi Patel as Additional CEO of State Health Assurance Agency; Babulal Goyal as Commissioner of Devasthan, Udaipur; Bachanesh Kumar Agarwal as MD of Rajfed; and Shubham Chaudhary as Commissioner of Horticulture. Dr. Nitish Sharma serves as Joint Secretary to the CM; Lalit Kumar as Joint Secretary in Medical Education; Nikay Gohain as Commissioner of Child Rights; Iqbal Khan as Commissioner and Joint Secretary for Persons with Disabilities; Tikamchand Bohra and Kesarlal Meena as members of the Revenue Board, Ajmer; Suresh Kumar Ola as Commissioner of Industries, Commerce and CSR; Shaheen Ali Khan as ADG of HCM RIPA; and Manish Goyal as JS, Home (Appeal). Additional appointments include Puruhottam Sharma as Commissioner of Transport; Navneet Kumar as Commissioner for Colonization and Irrigated Area Development in Bikaner; Sukhveer Saini as JS, Home (Human Rights); Dr. Om Prakash Bairwa as Secretary, Electricity Regulatory Commission; and Naresh Kumar Goyal as Commissioner of Medical Education.
