The NBCC celebrated Constitution Day 2024 on November 26, 2024, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution.
In 2015, under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, the government designated November 26 as Constitution Day to promote constitutional values. Earlier to this, this day was celebrated as Law Day. Drafted under Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s leadership, the constitution aimed to ensure justice, liberty, equality and fraternity for all Indian citizens.
The celebration took place at NBCC's corporate headquarters in New Delhi, wherein Shri K.P.Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC; Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects) and Smt Ritu Pande, CVO, senior officers and employees gathered to participate in the ceremonial reading of the Preamble of the Constitution.The organisation paid homage to the drafters of our constitution.
