In a recent development, the Employees State Insurance Corporation (Govt. of India) awarded two major work orders to HSCC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NBCC. These projects encompass the construction of an additional 500 beds in Faridabad, raising the total capacity from 650 to 1,150 beds as well as the establishment of a new 500-bedded ESI Hospital in Manesar (Gurugram), Haryana. The total value of these projects is approximately Rs. 1,322.48 crore.
The new 500-bedded ESIC Hospital in Manesar will address the escalating healthcare demands of the Gurugram community. Situated on an 8.08-acre campus in IMT, Sector-II, the hospital is designed with sustainability as a core principle, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Once completed, it will feature a state-of-the-art Casualty/Emergency Block, outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) wards, a Gynae/Labour Complex, Dialysis Unit, Radiology Department, Laboratories, Critical Care Areas, a Pharmacy, and various other modern facilities. The project is scheduled for completion in approximately 42 months, with an estimated cost of around Rs. 660 crore.
Additionally, the construction of the additional 500 beds at the ESIC Medical College & Hospital in Faridabad aims to further enhance medical capacity in the region. This project, located on a 2.55-acre site within the college campus, will also prioritize sustainability and modern design. Similar to the Manesar hospital, it will feature essential healthcare amenities like Casualty/Emergency block, OPD & IPD wards, gynae/ Labour complex, Dialysis unit, a Radiology department, Laboratories, Critical Care areas, Pharmacy & Medical Store, besides other modern facilities, with a projected completion timeline of 42 months and estimated cost of project is Rs. 625 crore.NBCC and its subsidiaries boast an impressive portfolio in constructing and executing hospitals and medical colleges, including prestigious projects like AIIMS at various locations and AIIA in Goa.
