The award was received by Shri V Santa Kumar, CGM (F&A), & CFO along with Sri D Chinna Rao, DGM (F&A) on behalf of RINL from Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Director General Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-in), Government of India at a glittering ceremony held on Friday, 23rd June 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan,New Delhi. “National Award for Excellence in Cost Management” was instituted in the year 2003 by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) to recognize and honor organizations which have implemented efficient and innovative Cost Management techniques. 18th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management-2022 –First position award was awarded to RINL in recognition of its several cost reduction initiatives, effective utilization of resources, improving techno-economics and for implementing best cost management practices. It is worth mentioning here that RINL also won First Position under the category Manufacturing – Public – Mega the prestigious 17th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management-2019.
