Awards are given by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to its subordinate offices under the Rajbhasha Shield Scheme. Under this scheme, JNPA had received the first prize for five consecutive years from the year 2013-14 to 2017-18. The Shield and certificate were awarded to Shri Sanjay Sethi, IAS, Chairman, JNPA from the hands of Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal ji in the Hindi Advisory Committee meeting held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 29/07/2023. Along with Mrs. Manisha Jadhav, General Manager (Administration) and Secretary and Official Language Officer, JNPA were also present.
