Six IAS officers have been shifted in Assam given new portfolios. Debasish Sharma is transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Morigaon and assigned additional charge of Joint Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, Mumbai, while Prakash Ranjan has been posted as Secretary, Housing and Urban Affairs Department and Dr Sadnek Singh takes over as Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri and also handle charge of Secretary, Bodoland Territorial Region. Similarly, Megha Nidhi Dahal has been posted as Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation and Dr P Uday Praveen as Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat and Aditya Vikram Yadav was appointed Deputy Commissioner, Sivasagar.
