Six 2004 batch officers of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS) have been elevated to the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG) of IPoS and given new postings. Accordingly, Dinesh Kumar Sharma has been posted as DDG (Mission Karmyogi), Postal Directorate following promotion, while Jagdeep Gupta was appointed DDG (Personnel), Postal Directorate and Sunil Sharma was appointed DDG (Philately), Postal Directorate. Similarly, Nirmal Singh will be posted as GM (BD), BD Postal Directorate; Ashok Kumar Yadav as PMG, Foreign Post, Delhi and Babu Lal Sonal will join as PMG, Rajkot following promotion to SAG of IPoS.
