Three IAS officers have been given new portfolios in Gujarat. P D Palsana has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Co-operation Department, Gandhinagar, while B H Talati is transferred and posted as Special Director, State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Ahmedabad relieving Vishal Gupta, IAS of additional charge of that post. Besides, Hareet Shukla is transferred and appointed as Chief Electoral Officer for the State of Gujarat and will also be the Ex-Officio Principal Secretary to Government, General Administration Department (Election).
