“Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) (Undertaking), Visakhapatnam awarded Third Prize of Regional Official Language Award”

The Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) (Undertaking), Visakhapatnam was awarded Third Prize of Regional Official Language Award by Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India in Regional Joint Official Language Conference of Southern & Southern-Western States organized by MoHA(Ministry of Home Affairs) at Mysore, Karnataka, today.( on 4^th January, 2025).

The award for the year 2023-24 was presented by Hon’ble Governor of Bihar and Chief Guest Dr. Arif Mohammad Khan in presence of Sri Nityanand Rai, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Sri Yaduveer Chamraj, Hon’ble MP, Mysore and Smt. Ansuli Arya, IAS, Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and other dignitaries. 

The above prestigious award and appreciation certificate were received by Dr. Lalan Kumar, Member Secretary, TOLIC (Undertaking) and GM (Rajbhasha & Hospitality), RINL.

Chairman, TOLIC (Undertaking)-Visakhapatnam and CMD (additional charge), RINL Sri Ajit Kumar Saxena and Dr. Suresh Chandra Pandey, Director (Personnel), RINL congratulated member offices (PSUs) for the bagging National recognition each year since last 5 years. 

TOLIC (Undertaking), Visakhapatnam has been identified as a Special Committee by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India due to its special focus in both training and implementation of official language.

TOLIC (Undertaking), Visakhapatnam consists of 34 PSUs like HPCL, NTPC, Bharat Dynamics Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., NMDC, MMTC, MSTC, Indian Institute of Management, Visakhapatnam Port Authority, BHEL, Airport Authority of India Ltd.  etc.,
