Twenty IAS officers get new portfolios in Gujarat

Over 20 IAS officers have been given new portfolios in Gujarat. Banchha Nidhi Pani has been designated as Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, while Swaroop P takes over as Industries Commissioner, Gandhinagar and Avantika Singh Aulakh, Secretary to Chief Minister is assigned additional charge of Managing Director, Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Ltd., Vadodara. Similarly, Pravinbhai K Solanki has been appointed as Director General, Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, Ahmedabad; Dr. Rahul Babulal Gupta as Secretary to Government, Climate Change Department; Banchha Nidhi Pani as Municipal Commissioner, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad; Ranjeeth Kumar J as State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan; Ms. Remya Mohan Muthadath as Commissioner of Municipalities Administration & Ex-Officio Managing Director, Gujarat Urban Development Company Ltd. & Additional Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat Urban Development Mission; Sandip Janardanpant Sagale as Director General, Sports Authority of Gujarat (SAG); R.S. Ninama as Secretary, Gujarat State Human Rights Commission; Dr. Kuldeep Arya promoted to Super Time Scale (STS) and continued as Chief Executive Officer, Special Project (Dholera SIR & Mandal-Becharaji SIR), Industries & Mines Department; Dr. (Ms.) Ratankanvar H. Gadhavicharan promoted to STS and appointed as Commissioner of Health (Rural) and Ex-officio Mission Director, National Health Mission; Ms. Praveena D.K. promoted to STS and appointed as Vice Chairperson & Managing Director, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC); Nagarajan M. promoted to STS and appointed as Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC), Ahmedabad; Vijaykumar Lalubhai Kharadi promoted to STS and appointed as Managing Director, Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation Ltd; B.A. Shah is promoted to STS and appointed as Settlement Commissioner & Director of Land Records; Mahesh I.
