Amanbir Singh Bains Posted as Commissioner, Treasury and Accounts
Amanbir Singh Bains moves from the Energy Development Corporation to take charge of the Treasury and Accounts department.
Amanbir Singh Bains, a 2013-batch IAS officer, has been appointed Financial Commissioner-cum-Commissioner of Treasury and Accounts in Madhya Pradesh, with an additional charge as ex-officio Additional Secretary of the Finance Department, according to the order dated June 17, 2026. He previously served as Managing Director of the Energy Development Corporation in Bhopal, a post now taken over by Amit Tomar under the same reshuffle. The Treasury and Accounts post was earlier held by Bhaskar Lakshkar, who has moved to the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection department. The order was issued by the General Administration Department and signed by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain on behalf of the Governor.
