NCB Chief Anurag Garg Gets Tenure Extension Till July 2027

The central government has extended the deputation tenure of Anurag Garg as Director General of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) until July 31, 2027. A 1993-batch Indian Police Service officer from the Himachal Pradesh cadre, Garg continues to helm the country's apex anti-narcotics agency as part of the government's continuity strategy in the critical law enforcement position.
