Atanu Chakraborty, a former 1985 batch IAS officer, has resigned from his position as Chairman of HDFC Bank with immediate effect.
Atanu Chakraborty has resigned from his role as the Chairman of HDFC Bank, effective immediately. Before his tenure in the private sector, Chakraborty was a distinguished civil servant from the 1985 batch of the IAS, belonging to the Gujarat cadre.
