Chhattisgarh Sees Sweeping Reshuffle as 43 IAS Officers Assigned New Roles
Chhattisgarh executes a massive reshuffle of 43 IAS officers, with new postings spanning collectors, commissioners, and key secretariat roles.
In one of the largest single-day administrative reshuffles in recent times, Chhattisgarh has reassigned 43 Indian Administrative Service officers across an extensive array of departments. Among the notable postings: Ms Pushpa Sahu moves to Collector, Korea district; Rajendra Kumar Katara takes on the Special Secretary role in Health and Family Welfare; Dr Santosh Kumar Dewangan becomes Collector of Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi; S Jaivardhan heads to Director, Treasury and Accounts; Prabhat Malik joins as Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister; and D Rahul Venkat is named Commissioner for Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development. Mrs Chandan Sanjay Tripathi is posted as Collector, Balrampur-Ramanujganj; Mrs Roktima Yadav becomes Commissioner, Higher Education; Mrs Leena Kamlesh Mandavi takes charge as MD of the Chhattisgarh Khadi and Village Industries Board; and Ms Santan Devi Jangde moves to Collector, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. Dr Sanjay Kannauje is appointed Director of Culture; Mrs Padmini Bhoi Sahu becomes Collector, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh; and Sambit Mishra takes over as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Raipur. Ms Reena Jamil is posted as Collector, Surajpur; Vishwadip heads to Collector, Bijapur; Ms Rita Yadav becomes Secretary to the Board of Secondary Education; Mayank Agrawal is named CEO of CHiPS; and Rishabh Kumar Parashar is assigned additional charge as Director of Budget and Director of Local Fund Audit.
