Harshika Singh Appointed Director, Budget Department
Harshika Singh moves from heading the state's rural livelihood mission to take charge of the Budget Department.
Harshika Singh, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been posted as Director of Budget for Madhya Pradesh, according to the transfer order issued on June 17, 2026. She previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the Madhya Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) in Bhopal. The budget department post places Singh in a financial planning role at the state level, distinct from her earlier work coordinating rural livelihood and self-help group programs. Her exit from SRLM opens the position for Vinay Nigam, a 2014-batch officer named in the same order. The notification was issued by the General Administration Department and signed by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain on behalf of the Governor.
