Rohit Singh Named Managing Director, MP Textbook Corporation
Rohit Singh has been appointed Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation, with an additional charge in School Education.
Rohit Singh, a 2012-batch IAS officer, has been transferred as Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh Textbook Corporation in Bhopal, with an additional charge as Additional Secretary of the School Education Department, according to the order dated June 17, 2026. He moves from his earlier post as Additional Secretary in the Finance Department. The Textbook Corporation post was previously held by Vinay Nigam, a 2014-batch officer who has been transferred to head the MP State Rural Livelihood Mission under the same reshuffle. Singh's new assignment brings him into the education sector, overseeing the production and distribution of school textbooks across the state. The order was signed by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain on behalf of the Governor.
