State-run power major NTPC on Thursday said it will set up educational laboratories in 27 government schools in Meghalaya's Ri-Bhoi district.
NTPC Ltd entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Ri-Bhoi District Administration for setting up STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) laboratories under its CSR initiative in the northeast, the company said in a statement.
The project will be executed by NTPC's Bongaigaon unit, located in Kokrajhar district of Assam.
