Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Power, hosted its analysts meet in Mumbai, bringing together senior leadership and market analysts for a detailed briefing on the company's performance and strategic direction. The event was anchored by CMD Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, who was joined by Director (Finance) G Ravisankar, Director (Personnel) Dr Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Operations) Naveen Srivastava, and other senior officials. As of April 30, 2026, POWERGRID operates 291 sub-stations and over 1,85,102 circuit kilometres of transmission lines, backed by a transformation capacity of 6,28,516 MVA. Underlining the utility's reliability credentials, the corporation has sustained an average transmission system availability of more than 99.78 per cent, achieved through the adoption of advanced technological tools, heightened automation, and expanded digital solutions.
