Sanjiv Kumar, an Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS) officer who served as Chief Personnel Officer (Administration) with North Central Railway, has been appointed to the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) as General Manager (Human Resource Development) at its New Delhi headquarters. The deputation, effective from his date of relief on July 8, 2024, is for a duration of five years. In his new role, Kumar will oversee the human resource development function at CRIS, aligning workforce capabilities with the organisation's expanding mandate in railway information technology.
