Shailesh Vagerwal Chosen as Chairman and Managing Director of BDL
Shailesh Vagerwal, current CGM at Munitions India Limited, has been selected as the new CMD of Bharat Dynamics Limited following a PESB meeting.
Following a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting on February 21, 2026, Shailesh Vagerwal has been selected for the position of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) at Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL). He emerged as the successful candidate out of nine individuals interviewed for the post. Currently, Vagerwal holds the position of Chief General Manager (CGM) at Munitions India Limited.
