Tamil Nadu reshuffles six IPS officers; Dr P K Senthil Kumari posted as IGP Traffic while two officers receive promotions to SP rank.
Tamil Nadu has carried out a round of administrative transfers, assigning six IPS officers to new roles across the state. Dr P K Senthil Kumari has been posted as Inspector General of Police (Traffic & Road Safety), while Dongare Umesh takes over as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Thiruchirapalli. V Shyamala Devi has been appointed SP-II for Crime Against Women and Children in Chennai. Two officers — Akshay Anil Wakhare and Dr V Lalith Kumar — have been promoted to the rank of SP and posted in Thirupathur and Perambalur, respectively.
