Veteran IPS Officer Amit Pathak Takes Charge as Inspector General, NSG
IPS officer Amit Pathak appointed as Inspector General of the National Security Guard on deputation. He belongs to the 2007 UP cadre.
The National Security Guard (NSG) has a new Inspector General as Amit Pathak formally assumes the role on deputation. A 2007-batch IPS officer belonging to the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Pathak brings nearly two decades of policing experience to one of India premier counter-terrorism forces. His appointment is expected to further strengthen the organisation operational leadership.
