West Bengal Government Attaches Five IAS Officers to Chief Secretary's Office for Enhanced Coordination
Five IAS officers in West Bengal have been attached to the Chief Secretary's office to improve day-to-day administrative coordination with districts.
In a move aimed at streamlining state administration, the West Bengal government has attached five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers directly to the Office of the Chief Secretary. The selected bureaucrats—Naveen Kumar Chandra, Subhashini E, Mohd Abdul Shahid, Shubham Kundal, and Raunak Agarwal—will be responsible for managing day-to-day coordination between various state departments and district administrations to ensure efficient governance.
