22 Central Secretariat Service Officers Promoted to Selection Grade Against 2025 Select List
22 CSS officers have been promoted to the Selection Grade (Deputy Secretary) for 2025, with several receiving new ministry postings.
Twenty-two Under Secretaries (Grade-I) of the Central Secretariat Service have been included in the Selection Grade, equivalent to Deputy Secretary, Select List for 2025.
Officers retained within their current cadre units following the promotion include Sukhdev Singh Negi and Rajesh Kumar Sinha among others, meaning they continue in their existing ministry assignments at the newly promoted rank rather than being reassigned to a different department as part of the promotion order.
Officers currently on deputation at the time of this promotion, including Ashok Kumar and Pramod Kumar Jaiswal, will have their specific post-promotion posting decided upon completion of their current deputation tenure and return to CSS's regular placement pool.
