Senior police official B Bala Naga Devi has been designated as the new Director General of Police (DGP) for the Cyber Crime Wing in Tamil Nadu. A highly experienced law enforcement professional, Devi is a 1995 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer belonging to the Tamil Nadu cadre. In her new role, she will spearhead the state's efforts in combating complex digital and cyber-related offenses.
