Babu Singh Jamod Posted as Secretary, Urban Development and Housing

Babu Singh Jamod, a 2006-batch IAS officer, has been appointed Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department in Madhya Pradesh, according to the June 17, 2026 transfer order. He moves from his previous position as Commissioner of Rewa Division. The Urban Development and Housing Department handles municipal infrastructure, affordable housing schemes and city planning across the state, making it one of the more closely watched portfolios in the bureaucracy.
