Bihar Police Command Revamped with Extensive IPS Officer Reshuffle
Bihar reshuffles multiple IPS officers into ADG and IG roles, restructuring the state's policing and security apparatus.
Bihar has carried out a comprehensive redeployment of senior IPS officers across critical law enforcement roles. Dr. Pravesh Saxena has been appointed ADG-cum-Commissioner, Civil Defence; Nirmal Kumar Azad moves to ADG, Training; and Sudhanshu Kumar takes charge as ADG, Law and Order. Dr. Amit Kumar Jain is posted to ADG, Economic Offences Wing (EOW); N S Khan heads to ADG, Bihar Special Armed Police; Dr. Kamal Kishore Singh assumes charge at ADG, Railway; and Ajitabh Kumar is posted as ADG, EOW and Modernization. Sanjay Singh will serve as ADG, Budget, Appeal and Welfare; Amit Lodha as ADG, Technical Services and Communication; and Amrit Raj as ADG, Cyber Crime. Vikash Vaibhav is posted as Inspector General, Magadh Range; Kshatrneel Singh as Special Secretary, Home; and P Kannan as IG, Provisioning.
