Latest updates on West Bengal's administrative changes: Two IAS officers are transferred following Election Commission orders to take up key roles as Returning Officers.

Adhering to the directives of the Election Commission of India (ECI), a strategic administrative shake-up has taken place in West Bengal with the transfer of two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Ravi Kumar has been appointed as the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Arambagh in Hooghly district, where he will also take on the crucial role of Returning Officer (RO) for the 200-Arambagh Assembly Constituency. Meanwhile, Ms. Tenzin Semkyi Ogen has been reassigned as Project Director (PD) of the District Rural Development Cell (DRDC) in Bankura, and will simultaneously serve as the RO for the 250-Raipur (ST) Assembly Constituency.
