Jharkhand Undertakes Massive Administrative Overhaul, 36 IAS Officers Reshuffled
Jharkhand reshuffles 36 IAS officers in a massive overhaul covering districts, departments, corporations and key government agencies.
In one of its most extensive administrative restructurings in recent memory, the Jharkhand government has transferred and posted 36 IAS officers to new assignments across the state. Chhavi Ranjan takes charge as Director of Sports and Executive Director of Jharkhand Sports Authority, while Shashi Prakash Jha moves in as Managing Director of Jharkhand Medical and Health Infrastructure Corporation. Key district-level postings include Zishan Qamar as Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum; Pashupati Nath Mishra as Deputy Commissioner, Garhwa; Mohammad Javed Hussain as Deputy Commissioner, Khunti; and Saurabh Kumar Bhuwania as Deputy Commissioner, Deoghar. Among other notable appointments, Rajiv Ranjan has been posted as Director, Information Technology with additional charge as CEO, JAP IT and CEO, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Innovation Lab; Neeraj Kumar Singh as Excise Commissioner and MD, Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation; Ananya Mittal as CEO of JSLPS; and Faiz Aq Ahmed Mumtaz as MD, Jharkhand State Food Corporation. Garima Singh has been appointed MD, Jharkraft, and Preeti Rani as Director, Directorate of Handlooms, Sericulture & Handicrafts. Other officers including Varun Ranjan, Satyendra Kumar, Madhavi Mishra, Robin Toppo, Alok Shikari Kachhap, Anilson Lakra, Karan Satyarthi, Chandan Kumar, Prerana Dixit, Shashi Prakash Singh, Kumar Tarachand, Keerthisree G, Sameera S, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Shrikant Vishyute Yashwant, and Animesh Ranjan have all been assigned new responsibilities across departments and divisions.
