Kerala Transfers Two DIG-Rank Officers; Karthick K Moves from Thiruvananthapuram CP Role

The Kerala government on Wednesday ordered the transfer of two Deputy Inspector General (DIG)-rank IPS officers as part of a broader reshuffle of the state's police administration. Karthick K., a 2011-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from his post as Commissioner of Police, Thiruvananthapuram, to serve as Deputy Inspector General of Police for the Kannur Range. Narayanan T., also of the 2011 Kerala-cadre batch, has been posted as DIG of the Thrissur Range. The transfers at the DIG level are part of a wider police reshuffle that also covered IGP and SP-rank officers. The movement of Karthick K. from the state capital's police commissionerate to a range-level DIG posting is among the more notable changes in the round of orders.
