IAS officer Lokhande Prashant Sitaram appointed CBSE Chairperson, shifting from MHA to lead India largest school examination board.
Lokhande Prashant Sitaram, Additional Secretary in the Department of Home under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed Chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the Ministry of Education. A 2001-batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre, Sitaram takes charge of India largest examination authority at a time of significant curricular and assessment reform.
