Varun Bhardwaj Appointed Secretary of CBSE on Lateral Deputation
IIS officer Varun Bhardwaj appointed CBSE Secretary on deputation till September 2027 under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Varun Bhardwaj, a Director in the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education, has been appointed Secretary at Director level of CBSE New Delhi. A 2008-batch Indian Information Service officer, Bhardwaj joins CBSE on deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme on a lateral shift basis, with the appointment valid until September 19, 2027, covering a combined five-year tenure.
