Maharashtra Reshuffles Senior IPS Officers Across Mumbai's Police Zones
Maharashtra reshuffles IPS officers as DCPs across Mumbai zones, with new assignments for Kalwaniya, Ragasudha, Goyal and others.
The Maharashtra government has carried out a significant reshuffle of senior IPS officers, reallocating them as Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCP) across multiple zones in Mumbai. Manish Kalwaniya has been assigned as DCP of Zone 1, while Ragasudha R takes charge of Zone 2. Nimit Goyal steps into the role of DCP, Zone 8; Mohit Kumar Garg has also been posted as DCP, Zone 1; Sandeep Ghuge takes over as DCP, Zone 11; Jayant Meena assumes charge as DCP for Zone 3; and Gajanan Rajmane has been entrusted with the responsibility of DCP, Zone 12. The transfers are expected to bring fresh administrative oversight to the city's policing structure.
