Haryana Undertakes Major Shake-Up, Reshuffling 17 IPS Officers

The Haryana government has executed a wide-ranging reshuffle of 17 IPS officers, bringing in fresh leadership across key policing commands in the state. Charu Bali has been posted as ADGP at the Bhondsi Police Complex in Gurugram, while Dr Mamta Ravi Kiran takes charge as ADGP of the State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV&ACB). K K Rao is set to lead the Recruit Training Centre (RTC) at Bhondsi as ADGP; Vikas Arora moves to ADGP, Administration at the Police Headquarters; and Sibash Kabiraj has been named Commissioner of Police, Gurugram. At the IGP level, Rakesh Kumar Arya is posted to Crime Branch; Ashok Kumar takes charge of the Karnal Range; Om Prakash heads the South Range; Naazneen Bhasin has been given the dual responsibility of IGP for both the Haryana Armed Police (HAP) at Madhuban and the RTC at Bhondsi; and Kuldeep Singh takes over the Hisar Range. Among DIGs, Hamid Akhtar is posted to HAP Madhuban; Surinder Pal Singh moves to CID; Rajender Kumar Meena will hold additional charge of the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) at Sonepat; Manbir Singh takes primary charge of HSNCB; Sunil Kumar will oversee both the State Crime Branch and HSNCB; and Surinder Singh Bhoria is assigned to the Special Task Force in Panchkula and the Commando unit at Newal, Karnal. Aditi Singh rounds out the list with a posting to SV&ACB in Gurugram.
