Maharashtra Sees Fresh IAS Assignments: Four Officers Take Up Key Roles
Maharashtra reassigns four IAS officers to senior roles spanning rural development, divisional administration, sports, and municipal governance.
The Maharashtra government has carried out fresh assignments for four senior Indian Administrative Service officers, placing them in key roles across the state's administrative and developmental spectrum. Dr Chandrakant Pulkundwar has been appointed as Secretary of the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai, a critical portfolio overseeing grassroots governance. Mrs Sheetal Teli-Ugale has been posted as Divisional Commissioner of the Pune Division — one of the state's most significant administrative territories. Deepak Singla takes charge as Commissioner, Sports and Youth, Pune, bringing administrative leadership to the state's youth and sporting development agenda. Meanwhile, Muruganantham M has been appointed Additional Municipal Commissioner of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation, reinforcing urban administration in Maharashtra's second capital.
