NLC INDIA CMD SHRI PRASANNA KUMAR MOTUPALLI CONFERRED EINSTEIN WORLD RECORDS RECOGNITION FOR STUDENT-CENTRIC INITIATIVE
Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director, NLC India Limited (NLCIL), was conferred the prestigious Einstein World Records Recognition in appreciation of his exemplary and visionary decision to introduce free bus transportation for school students studying in Neyveli Township, a welfare initiative that has significantly benefited thousands of students and their families.
Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director, NLC India Limited (NLCIL), was conferred the prestigious Einstein World Records Recognition in appreciation of his exemplary and visionary decision to introduce free bus transportation for school students studying in Neyveli Township, a welfare initiative that has significantly benefited thousands of students and their families.
The recognition was presented on 30th June 2026 at A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Hall, Neyveli by Dr. J. Monica Roshinee, Co-Founder of Einstein World Records, in the presence of the Functional Directors of NLC India Limited, senior officials, teachers, and students from NLCIL schools.
The initiative, introduced under the leadership of Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, in August 2024 has transformed the daily commute of school children by ensuring safe, timely and cost-free transportation to educational institutions across Neyveli Township. The initiative has not only eased the financial burden on families but has also enhanced accessibility to quality education.
A touching testimony was shared by a girl student of NLC Girls Higher Secondary School, Block 11 during the function, who expressed that the free bus service had brought significant economic relief to her family while ensuring that she reached school safely and on time every day. Her heartfelt words reflected the positive impact of the initiative on thousands of students across the township.
Speaking on the occasion, a teacher from NLC Girls Higher Secondary School, Block-11, observed that the availability of free transportation has encouraged many parents, particularly those with girl children, to admit their daughters in Neyveli schools with greater confidence, thereby promoting girls’ education and educational inclusiveness.
Reading the citation, Dr. J. Monica Roshinee, Co-Founder of Einstein World Records, stated that the recognition was being conferred in appreciation of a socially impactful decision that has directly benefited thousands of children. She remarked that NLC India Limited is fortunate to have such a visionary Chief Executive Officer whose leadership reflects compassion, commitment and concern for society. Addressing the students, she encouraged them to dream big, remain ambitious and aspire to become transformational leaders like Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli.
Accepting the recognition, Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli stated that nearly 30,000 school children are pursuing their education in Neyveli Township, a number that exceeds the employee strength of NLC India Limited itself. He noted that the consistently outstanding academic performance of students from Neyveli schools stands as testimony to the unwavering commitment of the teachers, the hard work of the students and the strong support extended by parents. He encouraged the students
to continue striving for excellence, set higher goals and achieve even greater milestones in life.
Dedicating the recognition to the entire NLC India family, Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli said:

The function was attended by students from NLC Boys Higher Secondary School and NLC Girls Higher Secondary School, who witnessed the recognition ceremony with great enthusiasm.
The occasion was celebrated as a Triple Ceremony, marking three significant achievements of NLC India Limited. Besides the Einstein World Records recognition conferred upon the CMD, the event also felicitated officials who successfully obtained the IPMA Level-C Certification through the Learning & Development Centre and honoured the Quality Circle Teams of NLC India Limited for winning Platinum Awards at the recent Quality Circle Forum of India Convention held at Puducherry on 12th and 13th June 2026.
The ceremony reflected NLC India Limited’s unwavering commitment towards educational excellence, leadership development, quality culture and social responsibility.
