NLCIL Vigilance Department Leads Swachhata Pakhwada Beach Clean-Up Drive at Samiyarpettai

As part of the ongoing Swachhata Pakhwada initiative, the Vigilance Department of NLC India Limited (NLCIL) successfully organized and participated in a massive group cleaning activity today at the popular Samiyarpettai Beach.

The drive was led by the unwavering leadership of Tmt. T.G. Citrakala (CGM/Vigilance) and Thiru. R. Gunasekaran (GM/Vigilance). The dedicated clean-up team comprised a large turnout of vigilance officers, administrative staffs, operators and support staff who actively cleared plastic waste, debris and litter from the beach shores.

Samiyarpettai Beach, being one of the most prominent tourist attractions in the locality, saw an immediate transformation thanks to the team's rigorous efforts. The active and enthusiastic involvement of the NLCIL team drew significant attention from the visiting public and local residents.

Beyond the physical cleanup, the initiative served as a live awareness campaign. NLCIL officials emphasized the vital importance of waste management and this drive became an attempt to preserve the region's natural beauty.
