Centre Extends Praveen Khanooja's Additional Charge as CMD of Engineers India Limited
The Centre has extended Praveen M Khanooja's additional charge as CMD, Engineers India Limited, for three more months effective June 1, 2026.
The central government has extended by three months the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director at Engineers India Limited (EIL) held by Praveen M Khanooja, a 1994-batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) and Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The extension, effective June 1, 2026, follows the retirement of EIL's previous CMD, Vartika Shukla, on February 28. Engineers India Limited is a leading engineering consultancy and EPC company primarily operating in the hydrocarbon sector, and the arrangement ensures administrative continuity at the helm while a regular appointment is finalised.
