Punjab Administration Announces Key Roles for Two IAS Officers
Two IAS officers receive new assignments in Punjab. Ramvir takes over as Commissioner of Jalandhar Division, while Kumar Amit is appointed Secretary of the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board alongside his current duties.
The Punjab government has issued new posting orders for two Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Ramvir has been designated as the Administrative Secretary for Information & Public Relations and will also serve as the Commissioner for the Jalandhar Division. Meanwhile, Kumar Amit, who currently serves as the Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been given the additional responsibility of Secretary for the Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board. He will also continue holding his charge as Administrative Secretary of Tourism & Cultural Affairs.
