Retired IAS Officer Sanjay Gupta Named Chairperson of Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission
Retired IAS officer Sanjay Gupta has been appointed Chairperson of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission for a five-year term.
The Punjab government has appointed Sanjay Gupta, a retired IAS officer, as Chairperson of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC). The appointment, formalised through orders issued by the Punjab Governor, carries a tenure of five years. Gupta's administrative experience is expected to lend credibility and stability to the regulatory body overseeing the state's power sector.
