Shilendra Singh Appointed Commissioner, Rewa Division
Shilendra Singh moves from the Urban Development and Housing Department to take charge as Commissioner of Rewa Division.
Shilendra Singh, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been named Commissioner of Rewa Division under the Madhya Pradesh government's order dated June 17, 2026. He previously served as Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department. The Rewa Division post was earlier held by Babu Singh Jamod, who has been transferred to take over the Urban Development and Housing Department in what effectively functions as a direct exchange of postings between the two officers. Singh's new role places him in charge of district-level coordination and administrative oversight across Rewa Division. The order was issued by the General Administration Department and signed by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain on behalf of the Governor, taking effect immediately until further orders.
