Dinesh Shrivastava Named Secretary, MP State Election Commission

Dinesh Shrivastava, a 2010-batch IAS officer, has been transferred as Financial Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission in Bhopal, according to the order issued on June 17, 2026. He moves from his previous post as Financial Commissioner-cum-Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, where he also held an additional charge as Controller of Food and Drug Administration. The Election Commission posting puts Shrivastava in charge of election administration matters for the state body, a role distinct from his earlier health-sector responsibilities.
